green transport – is becoming increasingly important

At the end of last year we received the klimaaktiv mobile award. Our use of electric fork-lifts and low-emission trucks underpins the importance of environmental protection for the company. The head of our Fleet Workshop in Fügen received the award on behalf of binderholz from Federal Minister Rupprechter.

The klimaaktiv mobile award was initiated by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management (BMLFUW). It started an action programme to promote electric transport using renewable energy sources, which is intended to significantly accelerate the launch of electric mobility. Overall, this award is eminently consistent with our overriding corporate philosophy of ‘100% use of wood as a raw material’ based on our ‘no waste principle’ and against the background of our ‘green jobs’.
