You have trained in an apprenticeship job with a technical orientation or learned your craft in professional practice and you would like to use your knowledge and abilities, and possibly your pre-existing relevant professional experience in the wood processing industry? The chances are good because the basis of our joint success and the by far greatest part of our staff at all international sites are our workers with multi-layered work descriptions.
By the way, do not be deterred if you do not fulfill all of the prerequisites that are good to have for the work areas described in the following and do send us your application anyway - for example, also without completed apprenticeship - based on your strong motivation and reliability - after all, nobody is perfect!
As a trained timber worker with completed apprenticeship and the assured affinity for the wonderful material wood, you can find particularly suitable areas of work foremost at all of our mill sites - e.g. as carpenter / joiner / wood technician / wood processing mechanic.
The job descriptions can vary greatly indeed and depend on the respective product or production process of the mill site: everything ranging from industrial sawmill & planing technique to the sawn/profiled timber production and the manufacturing of modern, glued solid timber products - there are tasks in every production environment where you can make excellent use of your specialised knowledge relating to the modern wood processing!
In all of our timber mills, skilled teams of the mechanical, electrical or automotive maintenance ensure the best possible availability of our diverse machines, plants or our vehicle fleet.
During planned revisions or scheduled plant downtimes, you ensure that maintenance work, repairs or also conversions and expansions on our production systems are carried out swiftly and professionally. In case of unexpected failures or unscheduled standstills, all maintenance staff, who is available within the respective working time models, works together with high pressure to minimise production interruptions.
