Optimal protection for Glulam ceilings in visual surface quality

New quality standard in packaging

As the visible side of a Glulam ceiling element must of course stay undamaged, it must also be well protected accordingly. The packaging of these elements has now been much improved for the optimal protection: cardboard is put under the visible side, which is ideal to prevent damages from handling. A separate machine places it directly under the newly produced elements and shrink-wraps it together with the product. This way, it is prevented that the cardboard slides and the rest of the product is protected optimally.

This additional protection offers still further benefits for the customer, because it is no longer required to turn the bottom element at the construction site. Moreover, handling damages during loading and unloading are avoided, and the risk of soiling at the construction site is reduced.
