Project Manager – Senior Structural Engineer Mass Timber m/f/d - reference number: HA-0086

The products are exported all over the world.

binderholz is producing and distributing binderholz mass timber products (CLT, GLT) and offers integrated solutions for mass timber construction projects. For our further development within the American and Canadian market, we are seeking a key individual with technical engineering knowledge of mass timber projects. This position can be performed from our Sales organization in Atlanta, GA or remotely in your home office from any location within the US.

Your responsibilities
Cross-functional development of projects on the US/CAN market together with internal and external stakeholders, especially engineers | Serve as an effective client contact throughout the ongoing projects e.g. for status reports | Plan, coordinate and monitor a milestone-based schedule for the agreed scope of work in structural engineering from order intake through to construction project close-out | Develop efficient structural concepts and solutions for connection design, including calculations, documentation and specification in a sustainable, reliable and cost-effective manner in compliance with the Local Building Code | Prepare reports of structural overviews and project status for executive management

Your profile
Master’s Degree in civil/structural engineering or Bachelor’s Degree with relevant work experience | Thorough knowledge in building design using timber structural systems is a strong plus (i.e. Mass Timber Structures using CLT & Glulam) | Professional understanding of engineering and construction principles, especially with US/CAN design codes and regulations | Familiar with common engineering software | Capable of managing multiple projects and overseeing the processing of construction documents | Strong written and verbal communications skills | Ability to work in a self-responsible and team-oriented manner
