The company

You feel the natural surface.

You smell the fragrance of the forest.

You feel the harmony with nature.

You love the material wood.

Love of wood is the bond between us.

Even today the Binder family still support the brand name of binderholz. What began fifty years ago, initially in the timber trade, has now evolved beyond the saw mill to encompass a much more comprehensive wood processing operation. New standards are continuously being implemented in the domain of engineering, product innovation and architectural design.  Meanwhile the third generation of the Binder family retains overall management of the company and furthermore maintains their predecessors’ original inspiration for the product. A passion for wood and an entrepreneurial commitment is the ethos of the binderholz Company. Thereby is ensured that the name of binderholz shall forever remain what it symbolizes today: that is the byword for the highest quality wood. Franz Binder senior turned his passion for wood into a profession during the 1950s. This passion is already being experienced by the third generation of the Binder family in the vision, innovation and enormous commitment of all its staff. binderholz produces sophisticated solutions made from solid wood across six sites. Responsible handling with the wonderful raw material and the environment guarantee high quality solid wood products and wood fuel composites. Apart from the headquarters in Fügen in Tyrol binderholz has five further sites. At the solid wood panel production facility in St. Georgen near Salzburg, the glulam plant in Jenbach in Tyrol, the MDF panel factory in Hallein near Salzburg, the cross laminated timber plant in Unternberg near Salzburg, and at the timber plant in Kösching near Ingolstadt, Germany around 1.150 employees share their passion for wood.
